How to put it together

Cut out a large hole in the top of the cardboard box for your head, and two holes on the sides for your arms using a utility knife.

Wrap the entire box in black paper, paint it black, or cover the edges with black duct tape to create a uniform dark base.

Cut nine equal-sized squares for each of the five visible sides of the cube from your colored paper or poster board (using red, blue, green, yellow, orange, and white).

Glue or tape the colored squares onto the sides of the box in a 3x3 grid pattern, leaving a small gap of black space between each square.

Apply black electrical tape or duct tape over the gaps to create clean, straight grid lines.
