What you need for a Rubble costume

Yellow construction vest
A bright yellow safety vest or utility vest, preferably with silver reflective stripes.
DIY: Use a plain yellow t-shirt and draw silver stripes across the chest using fabric paint or silver duct tape.
Yellow construction helmet
A lightweight plastic yellow hard hat with a PAW Patrol paw print badge attached to the front.
DIY: Take a yellow toy construction hat and stick a printed paper paw print logo onto the front.
Brown dog ears
Floppy brown felt or plush bulldog ears attached to the sides of the helmet or on a separate headband.
DIY: Cut ear shapes out of brown felt and hot-glue them directly to the sides of the yellow helmet.
Brown base layers
A matching brown long-sleeve shirt and brown pants to represent Rubble's bulldog fur.
DIY: Any solid brown sweatshirt and sweatpants from the closet will work perfectly.
Rubble pup tag collar
A black collar featuring a silver shield-shaped tag with a black wrench symbol in the center.
DIY: Cut a shield shape out of silver cardboard, draw a black wrench on it, and thread it onto a strip of black ribbon.

How to put it together

Put on the brown long-sleeve shirt and brown pants to establish the bulldog fur base.

Layer the yellow construction vest over the brown shirt and secure it at the front.

Fasten the black collar with the handmade or printed wrench pup tag around the neck.

Put on the black or dark blue backpack, ensuring any toy tools are safely secured inside.

Place the yellow construction helmet with the attached brown dog ears onto the head.

Attach a small brown plush tail to the back of the pants using a safety pin if desired.
Makeup & hair
Use black face paint to draw a small dog nose on the tip of the nose, and add a few light brown freckles on the cheeks to complete the bulldog look.
