How to put it together
- 1
Prepare the shirt by cutting a large capital letter 'P' out of yellow felt, making sure it is centered and covers most of the chest area.
- 2
Attach the yellow 'P' to the center of the pink t-shirt using fabric glue, double-sided fabric tape, or safety pins.
- 3
Put on the pink t-shirt and tuck it into the purple pleated mini skirt.
- 4
Put on the blonde ponytail wig, securing it with a wig cap, and wrap the pink scrunchie around the base of the ponytail.
- 5
Pull on the white knee-high go-go boots.
- 6
Apply optional grey eyeshadow or face paint to mimic her whale coloration, keeping the makeup bright and youthful.
Makeup & hair
Style your hair (or a wig) into a high, voluminous side ponytail secured with a pink scrunchie. Keep makeup bright and youthful with pink lipstick, light blue eyeshadow, and optional grey face paint or contouring to hint at her whale character design.

- Keep a hairbrush handy to keep the high ponytail smooth and tangle-free throughout the night.
Pearl Krabs costume FAQ
- What does the 'P' on Pearl's shirt stand for?
- The 'P' stands for Pearl, her own name, styled like a classic high school varsity or cheerleader letter.
- How do I make the 'P' stick to the shirt permanently?
- Use iron-on adhesive backing (like HeatnBond) or fabric glue for a permanent hold, or safety pins if you want to reuse the shirt later.
- What kind of shoes does Pearl wear?
- Pearl wears white, blocky boots in the show. White knee-high go-go boots or white rain boots are the best real-world matches.
Did you know? Despite being a sperm whale, Pearl's father is Eugene H. Krabs, a red crab—a running biological gag that is never fully explained in the series.
