What you need for a Lego costume

How to put it together

Find a cardboard box that fits your torso. Use a utility knife to carefully cut out a hole in the top for your head, and two holes on the sides for your arms.

Test-fit the box to ensure you can move your arms freely and walk comfortably. Trim the bottom of the box if it is too long.

Arrange six or eight plastic cups in two parallel vertical rows on the front of the box to mimic the studs of a classic LEGO brick.

Apply hot glue generously to the rims of the cups and press them firmly onto the front of the box. Let the glue dry completely.

Take the box to a well-ventilated outdoor area and apply 2-3 even coats of glossy spray paint, covering the box and the cups entirely. Allow it to dry between coats.
