How to put it together
- 1
Put on the matching black cargo pants and tuck them into the black combat boots.
- 2
Zip up the black athletic jackets; Katniss should pin the Mockingjay pin to her left collar or chest area.
- 3
Style Katniss's hair into a loose, side-swept Dutch braid draped over her left shoulder.
- 4
Apply light brown and black makeup smudges to both faces to simulate dirt from the arena.
- 5
For Peeta, optionally apply green and brown camouflage face paint patterns on the face and neck to reference his camouflage skills.
- 6
Equip Katniss with the toy bow and arrow set, slinging the quiver over her shoulder, and have Peeta carry a prop loaf of bread or a survival backpack.
Makeup & hair
Katniss needs a classic, loose Dutch braid swept over her left shoulder with a few messy face-framing strands. Peeta has messy, slightly styled blonde or light brown hair. Both should have minimal makeup, enhanced with brown and black face paint smudged on the cheeks and forehead to look like dirt.
