How to put it together
- 1
Put on the dark grey dress trousers and the black leather boots.
- 2
Button up the white dress shirt, leaving the top one or two buttons undone for a slightly disheveled look.
- 3
Put on the brown shearling-lined trench coat, keeping it open to reveal the shirt underneath.
- 4
Fit the prosthetic hook over your right hand, pulling your sleeve down slightly to cover the cuff of the prop.
- 5
Apply fake blood generously around the base of the hook where it meets your sleeve, letting some drip onto the fabric.
- 6
Use safety pins or fabric glue to attach a few plastic honeybees to your coat collar, shoulder, and shirt front.
Makeup & hair
Keep your hair neat and short. To mimic Tony Todd's classic look, you can add light theatrical makeup to create a pale, ghostly complexion, or focus on clean, minimalist makeup to let the hook and coat do the talking.
Candyman for couples, groups, kids & more

- group
- Gather a group of classic 90s slasher villains like Ghostface, Chucky, and Pinhead.
- kids
- A kid-friendly version can use a felt hook prop and a brown jacket, omitting the heavy fake blood.

Tips

- The shearling coat can get very warm indoors; wear a lightweight undershirt beneath your dress shirt to stay cool.
- For photos, pose in front of a mirror with your hook raised, or look over your shoulder with a menacing, stoic expression.
