What you need for a Big Daddy costume

Heavy-duty canvas or cotton flight suit to serve as the bulky base layer.
DIY: Use an oversized dark green or brown jumpsuit and distress it with dark acrylic paint.
Diving helmet dome
A large, lightweight spherical base with circular cutouts for the portholes.
DIY: Paper mache over a large beach ball, cut out the face holes, and paint it metallic bronze.
Helmet cage tubing
Flexible tubing to form the protective metal cage over the helmet dome.

How to put it together

Put on the olive green coveralls and heavy work boots as your base layer.

Construct the helmet dome, cutting out circular portholes aligned with your line of sight.

Attach the flexible tubing cage over the helmet dome using hot glue, then paint the entire helmet metallic bronze.

Mount the color-changing LED lights inside the helmet dome so they shine through the portholes.

Assemble the backpack oxygen tanks using painted plastic cylinders and attach them to your back.

Slide the lightweight foam drill cone over your right arm, securing it with an internal grip handle.
